Stamattina è stato dedicato a pulire e sorteggiare i libri in attesa della nuova libreria / This morning was dedicated to cleaning and sorting out the books while we wait for the new library.

Pulisce e divide in Inglese, per studiare, per colorare e racconti. Pigna separata per libri bi-lingue khmer ed inglese ed uno, quello più grande per libri in khmer / Clean and divide into English study books, colouring books and stories. Another  pile for bi-lingual Khmer and English and the biggest pile books in Khmer.

Alcuni ragazzi si sono distratti e si sono messi a leggere. Niente di male, anzi / Some kids got distracted and started reading. Not a bad thing, on the contrary.

Ma i libri non finiscono mai e neanche il sudore / But the books are never ending and neither is the sweat!

Le cose iniziano ad avere una sembianza di ordine. / Things start to take on a form of order.

Il pomeriggio è stato dedicato a shopping a Kampot / The afternoon was dedicated to shopping in Kampot.

Per loro una gita in tuk-tuk è sempre un avventura, pari ad un giro in una Ferrari / For them a ride in a tuk-tuk is an adventure, almost like having a spin in a Ferrari.

Tornata alle cure sicure del capo Sokkea / Back in the safe hands of the boss Sokkea

Beccati, mentre guardavamo frigoriferi mi sembrava che erano diventati stranamente silenziosi. Ecco dov’erano, incantate davanti un TV mega schermo. / Caught them! While we were looking at fridges I thought they had become strangely quiet. Here they were, mesmerised in front of a giant screen television.

Una ragazzo felice con la sua nuova, di secondo mano, bici . Si ci stava nel tuk-tuk, l’anno scorso abbiamo messo due! / One happy boy with his new, second hand, bicycle. Oh yes it went in the tuk-tuk, last year we got two in!

Una ragazza felice con il suo orologio Casio con calcolatrice incorporato, più jeans, maglietta, completo da calcio e scarpe / One happy little girl with her new Casio watch with incorporated calculator. Plus jeans, a t-shirt, a soccer out-fit and some new shoes.

Finale – tre ragazzi super felice. Qui non ci vuole molto / In the end – three very happy kids. It doesn’t take much round these parts.

Oh, quasi dimenticavo, un super felice e soddisfatta 006 e mezzo. Lavoro ben fatto Bond / Oh, almost forgot, one very happy and satisfied 006 and a half. Job well done Bond.
