Già il primo di Febbraio. Già passato il primo mese del 2019. Ma c’è lavoro da fare anche se I piccoli non l’hanno ancora capito e continuano a giocare. / Already February 1^st. The first month of 2019 has already been and gone. But there is work to do even if the little ones don’t understand and continue playing.

I miei lezioni più impegnativi quest’anno sono con gli insegnanti. Lunedì e Martedi sono dedicate ai principianti, insegnanti di Khmer. Ma si aggregano volentieri anche quelli intermedi per fare un ripasso. Poi Mercoledì, Giovedì e Venerdì sono dedicati agli intermedi, due insegnati d’inglese, Channa la social worker  l’anima del Centro e il suo nuovo assistente, l’unico maschio dello staff, se si esclude il guardiano notturno. Si impegnano veramente, ma anche io. Ho poco tempo e vorrei lasciare un segno positivo del mio passaggio. Stranamente mi diverto quasi quanto insegnare ai bambini. / My most challenging lessons this year are with the teachers. Monday and Tuesday are dedicated to the beginners, teachers of Khmer but the intermediate students happily join in. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are dedicated to the intermediate, two English teachers, Channa the social worker and soul of the Center and her new assistant, the only male on the staff if you exclude the night guard. They really put their souls into it, but so do I. I haven’t much time and I would like to leave a positive sign of my passage. Strangely I enjoy myself almost as much as with the children.

Venerdì pomeriggio e dedicato nella prima parte agli lezioni, dopo la pausa lavori e giochi. I lavori oggi erano ancora di trasportare la terra da vicino la strada per la pavimentazione della nuova aula. I maschi rompano e caricano la terra e le ragazze trasportano con vari metodi tipicamente Cambogiani. Poi bisogna compattarlo. Insegnante con I piedi bambini con gomme di camion. Tutti si divertano ed il lavoro avanza. / Friday afternoon is dedicated in the first half to the lessons, after the break work or games.
