Ancora una volta è Natale. Un momento speriamo di gioia e di serenità per tutti. / Once again it is Christmas. Hopefully a time of joy and serenity for all.

Rammentate l’importanza di ricordarsi di chi sta peggio di noi e di donare anche in queste occasioni. La solidarietà arricchisce lo spirito e mantiene alta la nostra autostima. Chi dona vive più sereno, apprezza al meglio la bellezza della vita e supera più facilmente i momenti di difficoltà. / Don’t forget the importance of remembering those who are worse off than we are and donating even on these occasions. Solidarity enriches the spirit and keeps our self-esteem high. Those who donate live more serenely, appreciate the beauty of life better and overcome difficult moments more easily.

L’Assemblea Ordinaria degli Associati del 24 aprile 2021 ha approvato il Bilancio Consuntivo 2020 e la Relazione di Missione di A Smile for Cambodia Onlus. / The Ordinary Assembly of the Associates of April 24, 2021 approved the Final Balance Sheet 2020 and the Mission Report of A Smile for Cambodia Onlus.

L’anno 2020, particolarmente difficile, si chiude con fondi raccolti per 75.929 euro, a fronte dei quali si registrano costi di gestione per 2.251 euro, costi correlati alle iniziative di raccolta fondi per 4.142 euro ed erogazioni ai progetti per 78.405 euro. / 2020, a particularly difficult year, closes with funds raised for 75,929 euros, against which there are management costs for 2,251 euros, costs related to fundraising initiatives for 4,142 euros and contributions to projects for 78,405 euros.

Al netto dei costi finanziari, relativi esclusivamente alle spese bancarie dell’unico conto su cui l’associazione opera, il Risultato di Gestione risulta negativo per 9.233 euro. Questo principalmente in relazione all’importante sforzo sostenuto per il completamento del nuovo edificio che ospita le nuove aule, che ha comportato l’erogazione nel solo 2020, per tale specifica iniziativa, di contributi alla nostra organizzazione gemella Shade for Children per 28.012 euro. / Net of financial costs, related exclusively to bank expenses of the only account on which the association operates, the Operating Result is negative for 9,233 euros. This is mainly in relation to the important effort made for the completion of the new building that houses the new classrooms, which led to the disbursement in 2020 alone, for this specific initiative, of contributions to our sister organization Shade for Children for 28,012 euros.

Alla fine del 2020 erano anche attivi 120 Sostegni a Distanza, con 109 sostenitori italiani e 11 sostenitori stranieri (da USA, UK, Francia, Israele). / At the end of 2020 there were also 120 active Distant Adoptions, with 109 Italian supporters and 11 foreign supporters (from USA, UK, France, Israel).

L’Assemblea degli Associati ha anche provveduto al rinnovo delle cariche sociali con la nomina dei componenti del Consiglio Direttivo per il periodo 2021-2025 (fino all’approvazione del bilancio 2025). / The Shareholders’ Meeting also voted for the renewal of the social offices with the appointment of the members of the Board of Directors for the period 2021-2025 (until the approval of the 2025 Financial results).

ASC Onlus diventa Organizzazione Selezionata da Istituto Italiano della Donazione.

Dall’inizio del 2017 la nostra associazione ha avviato la collaborazione con l’Istituto Italiano Donazione (IID – http://www.istitutoitalianodonazione.it/it/) istituto fondato da Fondazione Sodalitas e Forum Terzo Settore. IID si dedica al supporto informativo e formativo degli Enti Non Profit e alla certificazione degli Enti stessi, attraverso il progetto IO DONO SICURO, primo database on line di Organizzazioni Non Profit verificate e garantite proprio da Istituto Italiano della Donazione che ne verifica annualmente, sulla base dell’esame delle policy di diffusione dell’informazione e dei documenti di bilancio, la trasparenza ed efficienza dell’attività svolta. / From the beginning of 2017 we started the cooperation with Istituto Italiano Donazione (http://www.istitutoitalianodonazione.it/it/) founded by Fondazione Sodalitas and Forum Terzo Settore. IID is dedicated to supplying information and training for No Profit Organizations and to verifying and certify them, through the analysis and evaluation of their information policies and financial documentation. The No Profit Organizations that pass the screening are admitted in the database IO DONO SICURO (roughfly translated into “I donate safely”) the first italian online database of safe and certified No Profit Entities, and are awarded with the possibility to use the Logo IO DONO SICURO on their documentation and information material. IID verifies each year within the project IO DONO SICURO the compliance of member Organizations with the due transparency requirements for their activity and the related reporting. 

IID ci ha riconosciuto all’inizio del 2017, dopo l’esame effettuato sulla nostra documentazione e sulle modalità con cui rendicontiamo la nostra attività, l’ammissione tra le Organizzazioni selezionate da Istituto Italiano della Donazione, con la possibilità di uso del relativo logo. / IID, after due verification of our financial documents and of our project reporting, at the beginning of this year admitted us among the Organisations selected by Istituto Italiano della Donazione and awarded us with the possibility to use the brand, which is now present in all our documentation.


A brevissimo le nostre prime iniziative in collaborazione e con il supporto dell’Istituto Italiano Donazione. / Very shortly we will be publishing information on our next activities in cooperation with Istituto Italiano Donazione.

 

24/08/2017 – Un doveroso ricordo per le vittime del terremoto in Centro Italia

E’ già passato un anno e tutti sapete dai Media nazionali quale è la situazione delle zone colpite dal terremoto dell’Agosto 2016 e dal suo seguito dell’Ottobre successivo. / Already a year has gone by and you all know from Italian national Media how the situation is in the areas hit by the earthquake in August 2016 and the following aftershocks and new quake in October 2016. 

A un anno di distanza ci sembra doveroso rivolgere un commosso ricordo a tutte le vittime del sisma ed esprimere la nostra solidarietà a tutte le persone che stanno combattendo per mantenere le proprie radici nel territorio colpito. / At exactly one year from the event we feel compelled to pay our deepest sorrow for all the people that died and to express our strongest moral support to all the people that are fighting to keep their roots in the territory that was so hardly hit.

Sono ben 131 i comuni danneggiati dal sisma del 24 Agosto e del 26 e 30 Ottobre 2016. 14 in Abruzzo, 15 in Lazio, 15 in Umbria e ben 87 nelle Marche. Una devastazione di amplissime dimensioni. / 131 is the number of towns hit and damaged by the earthquake of 24 August and 26 and 30 October 2016. 14 in Abruzzo, 15 in Lazio, 15 in Umbria and 87 in the Marche Region. A devastation that hit, at various levels, a very wide area in Central Italy. 

Lo scorso anno in occasione del nostro evento Io Disegno per la Cambogia 2016 sentimmo la necessità di destinare una parte di quanto raccolto per le zone terremotate. I fondi sono ancora a nostre mani (una piccola goccia nel mare, poco meno di 800 euro) e stiamo lavorando per individuare una di queste amministrazioni comunali con cui dialogare per poter impiegare nel modo più opportuno i fondi. / Last year when we held our annual event Io Disegno per la Cambogia 2016 we felt the need to destinate part of the fundraising made with the event for the areas hit by the earthquake. The funds are still at our hands (just a little drop in the ocean, little less than 800 euros) and we are currently working to select the town where we can do the most with these resources.

Anche alcune nostre iniziative delle prossime settimane verranno in parte indirizzate verso questo obiettivo e ve ne daremo conto a breve (in particolare una iniziativa in collaborazione con l’Istituto Italiano della Donazione e Coop Lombardia). / In addition some of our next initiatives will be partly aimed at his objective and we will be giving detailed information on this in the next days (in particular we refer to an initiative in cooperation with Istituto Italiano della Donazione and Coop Lombardia).

 

Nuovi riferimenti bancari della nostra Associazione

Dal giorno 20 febbraio 2017 cambia l’IBAN del conto corrente bancario di A Smile for Cambodia Onlus, a seguito della fusione di Banca Popolare di Bergamo in Ubibanca S.p.A.. I bonifici già disposti sul vecchio IBAN verranno canalizzati comunque sul nostro conto corrente, ma solo per un periodo limitato di 6 mesi./Starting on 20 february 2017 the reference numbers of our bank account change, due to the merger of Banca Popolare di Bergamo into Ubibanca S.p.A.. The wire transfers to the old account will be validly accepted only for a limited time.
